Floyd Kitzmiller

Floyd A. Kitzmiller, 84 years, of Lambertville, MI was called home to the Lord on Sunday, January 18, 2015 in the Point Place Care Center.

Floyd was born on December 28, 1930 to Harold and Emma (Dodson) Kitzmiller in Lancaster  County, OH where he grew up in the Lancaster County Children's Home. Floyd served in the U.S. Navy from 1948-1950 on board the U.S.S. Hamilton.

Melvin Bodi

Melvin "Buggs" Bodi, 84 years, of Orland, IN passed away Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Thurston Woods Village, Sturgis, MI. A glass cutter, he retired from Libbey Owens Ford after 31 years and then continued his passion as a carpenter for over 30 years.

The son of Clarence and Rose (Mahler) Bodi he was born March 24, 1930 in Curtice, OH. Melvin served his country as a U.S. Marine during the Korean War. January 6, 1951 he married Dee Warner.

Garry Brown

Garry Karl Brown, age 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, January 10, 2015 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by his loving family. Garry was born August 7, 1940 to Hartsel and Mary Wanda (Myers) Brown in Toledo, OH.

The daughter of John and Helen (Swiatecki) Klosinski, she was born September 14, 1937 in Toledo. August 12, 1977 she married Richard "Dick" Slovak.

Martha (Hart) Wilkins "Granny" of Erie, MI went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ,  January 1, 2015 after 91 years, surrounded by her loving family.  The daughter of Frank and Lucille (McKellips) Hart, she was born September 7, 1923 in Defiance, OH. Only one life so soon will pass, only what's done for Jesus Christ, will last.   Special people in her life who she loved spending time with were her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Richard Fandrey

Richard Francis Fandrey went home to his father in heaven on 12/31/14 at his home in his beloved Fort Myers, Florida. Richard was born to Mathilda and Otto Fandrey on 5/13/24 in Toledo, OH.  Richard married Mary Hatfield in 1947. They were married 31 years until her death in 1978. In 1993 he married Susan Lechlak who survives. He is also survived by his children Ann (Fred) Eberly, Mary Beth (Terry) Goatley, Rick (Sue) Fandrey, Demetrius Haley Fandrey, and by his stepchildren Michael (Angela) Haley and Sarah Haley. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Carl Muntz

Born on December 20, 1912, Ben just celebrated his 102nd birthday! He was born to Henry and Frieda (Marzahl-Nieman) Muntz, living and growing up in Deerfield, MI.

A Veteran of WWII, he joined the U.S. Navy and became a 1st Class Radio Technician at age 29 serving at Pearl Harbor after the bombing. Ben served 2 years in the Navy. After coming home, he and his brother, Erwin, began Muntz Construction and worked together many years doing construction work.

Samuel Ball

On December 22nd, Sam Ball passed away peacefully at home after a brief illness.  Born in Louisville, Kentucky and raised in several southern states, he came to the Toledo area as a sales representative.  After meeting and marrying the woman who was unabashedly the love of his life, he revived his interest in photography and established his own business, Photography by Sam, retiring in 2005.  Sam became an active member in, and freely gave of his time serving on the boards of, local camera clubs and professional photography organizations.
