Kenneth O. “Butch” Thomas, 72 years, of Toledo, OH passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 in Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania. A welder for the Chrysler Corporation, he retired after 34 years. The son of Edward and Florence (Chamberlin) Thomas he was born November 8, 1942 in Toledo.
He was a U.S. Airforce veteran. Butch’s hobbies included racing with both of his sons at Toledo Speedway and building models.
Butch is survived by his loving sons, Ken (Lori) Thomas, Rick Thomas; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Donnelly. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (VanEtten) Thomas and his parents.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. in Urbanski’s Bedford Funeral Chapel 8300 Lewis Avenue Temperance, MI. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg with Military Honors conducted by Lambertville VFW Post #9656.
